Netflix in Russia

Netflix said it has no plans to add any Russian channels to its service in Russia despite a regulation that would require the streaming giant to carry as many as 20 Russian state-owned news, sports and entertainment channels. In Russia for only one year, Netflix has 100,000 subscribers.

As a result of the current crisis in the Ukraine, YouTube, Meta and TikTok took decisive steps to ban from their platforms Russian state-owned media outlets. RT and Sputnik took a position in support of the Russian government's false narrative justifying the invasion of Ukraine.
